Sorry for not upadting my blog, it has been busy busy months for me sicne we came back from vacation in Manila.

We also had gone for a Macau vacation then school work again.

By end of May we will have our exams before our June break.

By June we will have a monthlong vacation and hopefully by this time I have more time with updating my blog.

Dad is Still in the US

Two weeks ago Mom and Dad were both away on business in the US and me and Niles were left alone in Singapore. I am already in Secondary 1 and most of the time I come home late due to some school work or I hang around with friends from my new school.

But my brother Niles is alone at home and oftentimes he bothers me by asking me where I came from. He used to follow me around the school during recess when we were still in the same school Dela Salle. Although I miss my old school ,I know I must get used to the way of life in my secondary school.

I hope Dad will come home soon, We miss him already!!Niles at least can box around with Dad when he is here.

I am Back

I am finally back in Singapore after a loooong vacation. I am also now in a new school, new classmates, new friends and new environment.

On my first day on Monday, our school (Assumption ENglish school) insisted that all Secondary 1 students join the Judo Club so that the school can maintain its standing as Best in Judo amongst all Singapore schools.

After several throws and kicks I got injured when I slipped on a mat.

There are new things to learn and today I took my photo for my School handbook.My mom say I look like Lucky Manzano.Who is he?

We had a good vacation. Nice beach,nice pool and nice food. We actually spent swimming in two pools...one in JW Marriot and the other at Sugar Palm Karon.

The beach swimming was something else.Me and Niles had been knocked out several times by the big waves. The waves were really very strong we cannot stand up even if we jump over the waves.

Sometimes it got so scary that we had to go back to shore. The sea water was also too salty for us.

Next stop, my parents are bringing us to Boracay.I heard from my parents we are going for a boat ride before reaching the island. Awesome!

Before our PSLE results will be released, our school Dela Salle will still ask all P6 students to go for some teambuilding camp again.

We had the same exercise when I was in P4 and its really very tiring running and jumping around and sleeping under tents with those giggly pesky girls.

Just thinking out loud...I would see the same old faces for the last time. Next year I will be in a different school.

My PSLE (Primary School Leaving Exam) will be next month.

It is something that ordinary mortals like me dread in our lifetime.My mom has been reminding me to study study and study everyday.She doesnt know that I attend review classes almost everyday of my life. I just go home to rest my mind from the constant studying.

My school Dela Salle has never had a poor PSLE showing. My Mom said maybe I am the first one who will destroy that record of my school,How can?

I dont want to have anxiety attacks but my mom is going to give me one if she doesnt stop reminding me to study.

Tomorrow is our last day in school and everyone of my chinese friends are looking forward to their ang pows. I dont get any ang pows but I do get Xmas gifts everytime we go home to the Philippines every year.

We have this tradition of us kids and even some of my elder cousins queueing up to get cash money from our uncles ,aunts and grandparents. Thats why I love going home to the Philippines every year.

In Singapore I dont have any chinese grandparents wh will give me ang pows. I do hope I have though.

Three, our parents let us play non stop when we are in Manila.

Yesterday I was at my moms office and we dropped by the M& M house. Its like the hansel and gretel house since there was a lot of M&M chocolates inside the store.Then we watched Alvin and the Chipmunks before we went to the Simbang Gabi.

I am so happy despite Mom scolding me yesterday at Novena Church, she still bought a Xmas present for me....yes I have my very own MP3 player. and Guess what? I will be using it on our flight to Manila tomorrow...that way I wont get bored. Even if we are flying Singapore Airlines I want my own MP3 player. Thanks Mom

Since its school holidays, I usually leave the computer to Kuya Nygel and I go with Mum to her office.

Its good, since I get to see Orchard Road and the many Xmas decorations...its very Christmasy

My Mum got angry yesterday because our year end results were bad. Me and Niles got a scolding from her.

Today I told her a joke, she scolded me again.Actually its a joke a heard from a friend...

"What do you call a Malay driving a BMW?"
Answer: A Chauffeur.
Ha!Ha! No offense meant(its a racist joke)

My mum said never to tell that joke again because it might back fire like

she said " A carnapper" (Now I know what she meant)

Good News Dad is Back

Good News Today, Dad will be back from Taiwan after two weeks.

He is arriving at 6:45 pm via Singapore Airlines.

Tomorrow till Friday is our exam week after that will be holiday for us.

I hope we can go home earlier to the Philippines so we can play and get together with our cousins. I am looking forward to Christmas in the Philippines!!!!

Dad is in Taiwan for another week. We thought he was coming home today but he told us he will be back next Saturday which means he will be away in Taiwan for two weeks.

Its good we were able to have our night swimming in Tito felix's condo the day before he left for Taiwan and we enjoyed meeting up with the sons of Dads friends. They are also the same age like us.

Im Back From the National Day Parades

It was very fun! All Primary 5 students from Singapore watched the preview show yesterday at the Marina floating stand.

The fun thing is the parade itself and the fireworks was the best part of the show. I hated the waiting 1 and a half hours in our school for the bus and another 1 hour at the floating stand before the show started.

We had a lot of food in our free goodie bag and Mc Donalds gave us two Mc CHicken for our dinner.

I like the shark hat and the fan that glows with the words, Happy Birthday Singapore!.

There will still be 2 other preview shows next Saturday July 21, 28 before the August 9 NDP.

I am Joining the 2007 NDP Parade show on July 14,Saturday. Its a first for me(no its actually my 3rd time to watch it,lucky me!)

The National Day Parade is the highlight of Singapore's National Day celebration on AUgust 9. I am saying its my first,since its the first time it will be held in a floating stage and its my first time to watch it alone.

Yes all primary 5 students in Singapore will have the chance of viewing the parade for free.

And to top it all, I will get a free goodie bag.My parents are already excited about the goodie bag since it contains a lot of vouchers and gift items.

Its almost my birthday month and next to that will be National Day (NDP)month,August 9.(Singapores National Day).

The other day, me and mom entered our names in a balloting for free NDP 2007 tickets.

The last time we watched the ND Parades was three years ago when my mom was still with her first company and she was given tickets for free.

I like watching the parade because aside from the fireworks ,each person will get a goody bag.

Niles is going to Camp

My younger brother Niles is going to camp on Friday and since Monday he is like Flik from the Bugs Life.

He is always carrying his sleeping bag on his back around the house. He has already packed everything in his knapsack including his toothbrush as if he is living the life of a camper.

I also went to camp last year and it was really fun. We slept under the tent and we ate,bath and dressed up together.

This year Niles camping will be at Sentosa. I hope he will have fun as I had.

Mommy just told me that we will be flying Singapore Airlines in December. Wow thats cool!

Firstly, we have our own meals not like Mommy or Daddys Meal. We can actually order for a childs meal with a free toy and chocolates.

Then we can have the TV to ourselves. We can play all sorts of games and watch any kind of movie we want. I dont have to fight with Niles for the TV screen since I have my own.

What better way to fly than this airline. I wont be bored for the 3 hour flight to Manila and back to Singapore. Wow this is good news for Niles.

Lonely times again

Lonely times again for me and my brother Niles. My two cousins Cocoy and Ate Bernice left yesterday. Cocoy to Manila and Bernice to HK. I wish Ken and Jarrell ,my two other cousins can also come here.

My parents promised us that we will have an early vacation in December in the Philippines. Our school ends November so the whole of December we will be on vacation.

Hopefully we will have a whle month in Manila.

More Visitors in Singapore

Yesterday, We have Tita Juliet (my mums friend)and her daughter Ate Jenny visiting us. They will stay in Singapore till Wednesday . They are going to Australia.

Then on Friday, we will have my Tita Alice, my mums cousin and my uncle Freddie also coming to visit.

From April 17-21 my two Aunts Malu and Mean(My moms sisters) and cousins Cocoy and Bernice are also coming

I love people visiting us. They give us pasalubong mostly sweets from the Philippines like dried mangos, pulburon and ensaymada.

Aside from our relatives and my mums friends, we also have regular maid visitors staying at our house. Now we have Ate Snooky and last week we have Ate Virgy.

I cannot remember all their names but when they come we learn a lot about them. Sometimes they also teach us some things like we learned how to bike because of Ate Precy and Ate Maylyn.

Thanks to them ,we now know how to bike.

Fun Time in Bintan

Once again we had a fun time in Bintan with our cousins Ame and Cocoy.
Our Tita Me Ann and Tito Bebol treated us to a stay in Bintan Lagoon Hotel.

Last time we were here during the Chinese New Year holiday, we stayed in Mayang Seri. Bintan Lagoon hotel is much bigger .

That is the reason why Ame lost his way when we went for a swim at the pool.

My mum got angry with me for leaving him behind so Tita Mean had to look for him. Lucky somebody saw him and brought him to our room.
We stayed in two rooms in the hotel on the 3rd floor. We had dinner and a good breakfast at the hotel and the following day, we left early.

We had to go back early because my parents were having some guests at home.

Our Chinese Ang Pao

My mom brought me and my brother to her friends house. Its was somewhere in Aljunied and we had a lot of food to eat. Aside from that the Uncle and Auntie gave us $14 Ang Pao money.

We also tossed this salad they called Yusheng and we shouted and shouted. I think they were shouting more for good luck. It was really fun

I am Niles and Nygel is my big brother and also my best friend. I realized I feel lonely when he is not with me. Last year ,we were in the same afternoon session. Now he is in the morning and I am in the afternoon session.

I have no more playmate. I am lonely everyday since I have no one to talk to. When vacation time comes or days without school I am always happy because I have time with my Kuya Nygel.

We oftentimes quarrel and that makes my mom angry.She always tell us that her brothers never quarrel not like my kuya and me.We quarrel everyday when we are near each other. Maybe thats because we love each other.

Today is Valentines Day and I was sent home because I had a headache.

I dont know whats wrong with me but I suddenly didnt feel well so my friend informed my teacher and my teacher sent me home.

After I called my Mom to let her know I went home, I went down to buy icecream.

I have nothing to do today since I was told by my Mom that I shouldnt watch TV or open the computer. Maybe its my eyes thats worrying me thats why I had a headache.

My school wants me to go for an eye check up.So maybe next time I will be wearing cool eyeglasses

My Cousin Ame

Ame (or Jaime ) is my aunt Me Ann and Tito Bebols' youngest son. He is one of my cousins but I only got to know him when he visited us last Friday. Today they are going back to Manila.

Jaime looks like my Tito Bebol but he is so fun to be with. Since he came to SIngapore we had been having nightly midnight snacks of Mc Donalds since he loves Chicken Mc Wings.

Our Tito Bebol also gave us $5 each(me and my brother Niles) to take care of Ame. If we make him cry my Tito will deduct $1 from the $5. Thats so much fun. All we have to do is to entertain him. He is just 8 and he never complains. We just sit all day and play Play Station.

Maybe Niles and me will miss him when he goes back to Manila tonight. Anyway we will see him again in December. Happy trip to my Lolo Cecil,Tita Me Ann ,Tito Bebol and Ame.

My Dads Birthday

My father celebrated his birthday on the 17th of January. We only had a simple celebration for him, me, Nygel,Ate my Mom and Dad.

We had prepared a cake for him, ate cooked spaghetti and mom bought pizza.

My kuya Nygel even cried because he wanted a family size pizza and not regular size pizza.

But Dad was happy altho the day before he was sick and lost consciousness. I hope my Dad is OK. I love you Dad and take care of your health!!!Happy Birthday.

My Ate Bernice's Debut

My Ate Bernice's Debut was held at the Prince Jaipur at the Fort. She has twenty guests from relatives and friends.

I have a lot of teenage cousins like Kuya Nico, Kuya Miguel, Cocoy and Carlos(Tita Me Anns sons), Kuya Lawrence,Ate Myrellie and Mychelle(Tito Dangs kids) ,Ate Bernice (in pink) and her brother Vim.

My other cousins who celebrated their birthdays are Kuya Niko(Jan 6) and debut also of Ate Myrellie(Jan 7).

I enjoyed my vacation in the Philippines thanks to them.

Halloween Exams

I'm going to have my english exams tomorrow which really i dont have to worry about because in SA1 Exams i was 1st and in CA2 iwas 2nd .

I am having problems now because of my difficulty to pass my Maths And Chinese.My father even helped me to solve a fraction problem and he took a long time to solve it about 30 mins.I was so amazed that he took a long time to answer it.My mother whispered to her officemate that my P4 questions were as hard as her high school questions.

I'm also excited that halloween is coming and we are going to CEbu on December 17 . The one whos causing it all is this Computer.Its nearly 5 years and it wont stop cancelling the windows and turning on the Mcafee Viruscan itself.

I hope it does'nt close my blog window or i'll have to do it all over again.My other blog has a virus in its tagboard and i dont know how it got in there but i think its this computers fault transferring some of the virus to my tagboard at http://nygelnniles.i.ph.
